Nature is diversity, and every patient is unique. This is the essence of my discipline. Dentistry is a beautiful and fascinating blend of science and art. My greatest joy is the fine details in treatment planning that make the biggest difference. While we use the latest technologies in building and executing a beautiful smile, it must be artistically modified to recreate a natural, pleasing outcome. Each smile has an original charm, emotion, and perfect imperfections that take into account the personality of each individual. This is where patients teach me every day how to better myself: finding the secret blend for every one of them.
Dr. Ghassan Aro graduated from dental school at Damascus University in 1994 and continually pursues advanced education to remain at the forefront of modern dentistry. He specializes in complex restorative and cosmetic care, including dental implants, 3D-planned smile makeovers, and specialized removable restorations as a provider trained by the Geneva Institute for Removable Restorations.

With over 20 years alongside Dr. Aro, Marisa earned her dental assisting degree from Allan Hancock College in 2000. She ensures every patient experiences maximum comfort while staying ahead with advanced dental technologies. Outside the office, Marisa is a proud wife, mother to a surgical tech daughter and a Navy son, and an avid crafter who creates custom earrings.
Lupe
Registered Dental Assistant · Bilingual
Lupe brings over 30 years of registered dental assisting experience across the Central Coast, including 6 dedicated years with Dr. Aro. As a fluent Spanish speaker, Lupe helps non-English and bilingual patients feel fully seen, heard, and comfortable during treatment. She is a mother of four who enjoys church activities, singing, baking, camping, and cheering for the Dodgers.
Santos Diamanos
Office Manager
Santos leads office operations at Aro Dental Practice to deliver a seamless, welcoming, and organized experience. Specializing in patient care coordination, scheduling, insurance navigation, and treatment planning, Santos makes dental visits clear and stress-free. Outside work, Santos loves coastal drives, beach visits, and outdoor activities with family.

Receptionist
Andrea joined the practice in 2024 as the welcoming face at the front desk. She handles patient scheduling, insurance verification, and front-office administration to keep appointments running on time. Andrea enjoys music, movies, travel, spending time with loved ones, and caring for her six dogs.
Crystal Kueffer
Dental Hygienist
Crystal earned her Dental Hygiene degree from Diablo Valley College and provides gentle, thorough preventative hygiene care for patients of all ages. Known for her warm personality and educational focus. Crystal helps adults, seniors, and children maintain optimal oral health. In her personal time, Crystal loves exploring new destinations with her family.
