People ask us about cost before they ask almost anything else. Fair enough. But cosmetic dentistry doesn’t work off one flat number. It works off the smile in front of us.
Every case starts with what you actually need. A single chipped tooth is a different job than a full set of veneers. Material matters too; porcelain behaves differently than composite bonding, and each has its own process. The number of teeth involved changes things, and so does whether we need imaging first to plan the work.

What to Expect After Your Cosmetic Treatment
So you just walked out with a new smile. Now what? Most patients feel a little strange for the first day or two, and that’s normal. Your lips and cheeks need time to learn the new shape of your teeth, especially after veneers or bonding. Some mild sensitivity to hot or cold is common the first week, and it usually fades on its own.
We tell every patient the same thing before they leave the chair: give your mouth a few days before you judge the results. Your tongue will notice every little edge at first. That’s just your brain mapping the new terrain, not a sign something’s wrong.

- Avoid biting into hard foods like ice or hard candy that could chip new bonding material
- Brush and floss like normal; cosmetic work doesn’t change your daily care routine
- Call us if you notice a sharp edge, a rough spot, or your bite feels off when you close down
Bite adjustment is the one thing we watch closest. If your teeth don’t meet evenly, even by a hair, you’ll feel it within a day or two, usually as jaw tightness or a spot that keeps getting hit first. That’s an easy fix at a quick follow-up, not something you should just live with.
