Ghassan Aro, DDS

Dentistry is a beautiful and fascinating blend of science and art. My greatest joy is the fine details in treatment planning that makes the biggest difference. While we use the latest technologies in building and executing a beautiful smile, it must be artistically modified to recreate a natural, pleasing outcome. Each smile has an original charm, emotion and perfect imperfections that take into account the personality of each individual. This is where patients teach me every day how to better myself: finding the secret blend for every one of them.”

Dr. Ghassan Aro attended dental school at Damascus University, from which he graduated in 1994. He continues his dental education regularly to remain at the forefront of the dental field and provide his patients with the highest possible quality of care. He has received advanced training in a number of restorative and cosmetic treatments, including dental implants and dentures. Patient smile makeovers are not limited simply to cosmetic veneers, but also to restorative treatments such as the specialty dentures Dr. Aro provides. He is dedicated to providing a satisfying result and uses 3D imaging technology to visualize his patients’ results before making them a reality.

Dr. Aro and his wife, Mirna, have made San Luis Obispo their home for over 10 years. They have a daughter, Tatiana with whom they love spending time. Outside of spending time with his family, Dr. Aro enjoys fishing and working to improve his community.

I am our lead registered dental assistant and have been with Dr Aro for more than 20 years. I went to school for dental assisting at Allan Hancock college in 2000 and started working in the dental field right out of school. I love working with Dr Aro because he is caring about his job and always up to date with new technology and equipment.

I love that we all work together as a team and are able to have fun outside of the office as a team. I like to make sure patients are taken care of and that they are as comfortable as possible. I am married to a wonderful man that is a great supporter in everything I do. I have an amazing daughter who is surgical tech and son that is in the Navy. In my spare time I love doing crafts and making earrings.

¡Hola! my name is Lupe, I have over 30 years of experience as a registered dental assistant here in the Central Coast. I have had the privilege of working with Dr. Aro for the past 6 years. I am bilingual, which allows me to provide quality care in both English and Spanish.

I enjoy many aspects of my job, one of which is watching a patients complete their treatment and leave happy with the smiles they deserve. In addition, it warms my heart being able to communicate with patients in Spanish. I believe being able to communicate effectively in Spanish helps patients feel seen and understood. I am the proud mother of 4 wonderful children. My hobbies include going to church, singing, camping, baking, visiting my family and being a Dodger fan!

Hello my name is Santos I am the Office Manager here at Aro Dental Practice, where we are dedicated to creating a welcoming, organized, and positive experience for every patient. With experience in dental administration and patient care coordination, I help ensure the office runs smoothly while supporting both patients and the dental team.

I am passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visits, from scheduling appointments to navigating insurance and treatment planning. Making sure that we offer one of the best experiences when coming to the office whether it be for a cleaning appointment or an appointment to see Dr Aro for dental treatment. We like to make sure that our patient's feel at home and welcome when they come into the office, because we know it is not easy coming to a dentist appointment.Outside the office, I enjoy spending time at the beach or a cruise along the coast with amazing views, spending time with my family at the park or any outdoor activity we can do.

Crystal Kueffer is passionate about helping patients of all ages feel comfortable and cared for during their dental visits. She loves building relationships with families and creating a positive, stress-free experience for every patient who walks through the door.

After earning her degree in Dental Hygiene from Diablo Valley College, Crystal has continued to provide gentle, personalized care focused on prevention and patient education. She enjoys helping children and adults alike develop healthy habits that lead to confident, lasting smiles.

Known for her warm personality and gentle touch, Crystal takes pride in making patients feel at ease while providing thorough, compassionate care.

Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family exploring new places.
