Nature is diversity, and every patient is unique. This is the essence of my discipline.
Dentistry is a beautiful and fascinating blend of science and art. My greatest joy is the fine details in treatment planning that makes the biggest difference. While we use the latest technologies in building and executing a beautiful smile, it must be artistically modified to recreate a natural, pleasing outcome. Each smile has an original charm, emotion, and perfect imperfections that take into account the personality of each individual. This is where patients teach me every day how to better myself: finding the secret blend for every one of them.
Obtaining my education, and then continuing that education, has been at the forefront of my practice as a dentist. I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in Damascus, Syria, in 1994 before moving to the United States. Since then, I have been a member of the Loma Linda Implant Study Club, the Geneva Institute, the Lumineers® Study Club, and have taken the Cis Ankylose one-year implant course. I am also a member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association.
My wife, Mirna, and I have made San Luis Obispo our home over the past ten years. We have a little girl named Tatiana and a dog named Leo. My wife and I are dedicated to our 14-month-old daughter; we walk to the park every day, and often head to the beach. Other than spending time with my family, I enjoy fishing and working to improve my community.
